Banner Siege is the Metal Games storefront title for the Hellrogue-ai Unity project housed in LukeLit/AI-Playground. This hybrid game blends direct third-person control with tactical card-based unit deployment to create a unique battlefield experience. Players manage a regenerating energy pool to deploy combat units via costed cards, turning each decision into a strategic play that shifts the central control zone. Two competing factions—one led by the player and the other by adaptive CPU AI—vie for dominance, both struggling to protect their main bases while aggressively targeting the enemy's stronghold. With gameplay mechanics nodding to Fort Condor and Clash Royale, and visual inspirations drawn from Starvaders and Dicevaders, Banner Siege offers an engaging mix of action, strategy, and innovative combat tactics.
